BPI-Building Analyst - Introduction to Home Energy
During this 5-day workshop, Building Envelope, Pressure Diagnostics, and other topics will be covered.
This course consists of an overview of Building Science Fundamentals, Building Analyst Standards and Procedures, Heat Transfer and Loss, Air/Moisture Transfer, Economics of Energy Conservation Measures, Construction Fundamentals, Practical Application of Blower Door Technology, Combustion Safety Testing, Health and Safety, and Indoor Air Quality Improvements, including ASHRAE 62.2 applications.
Students will also utilize the latest computer simulation tools to configure realistic energy efficiency and health and safety scenarios to be diagnosed and addressed.
This workshop will prepare students to take the BPI-Building Analyst and BPI-Building Envelope Certification exams.
